Planning + Time Blocking

Hey Y’all, it’s been a minute! Today I’m going to show you how I plan my day/ week in a way that I can maximize my time and meet goals. I get overwhelmed super easy, so this is a “life hack” to staying on track.

What is time blocking?

Ah yis. Time blocking is when you plan your day more in-depth. Some may plan by the hour, every 30 minutes, or more vague like morning, afternoon, and evening. Usually each topic or item is color coded.

How do you time block?

I like to print my time blocking sheet for the week and physically fill it out using colored pens/ flairs. Other methods would be filling out your planner (if it has that kind of space), excel, or just your Microsoft outlook calendar. It could be very helpful if your email and calendar are synced between your desktop and your cell phone so that you’re always on schedule.

This is kind of what mine looks like: (Slightly cringe-worthy and obviously a work in progress…)

So, yep! That’s pretty much it. Everyone stay inside, stay on task, and let’s pull through this COVID-19 nightmare!
