Warning: Do not plan on traveling during the COVID-19 outbreak! (Although… I have been tempted to buy cheap flights to Hawaii….)
If you travel often, especially for work, you have no idea how many points you may be missing out on! When I found out about all these hacks to get extra points, I LOST MY MIND! My best friend and I went to Vegas last year for FREE! It’s just crazy. Trust me guys, this is almost effortless and insanely worth it. I may add some more ideas to this post as I mature in my career.
National Rental Car: Redeem your points for “Partner Rewards” like Southwest!
IHG (Hotels): Add extra points! You can purchase extra points to tack onto your final price for the room. You pay a little for a good deal on points. When you add those bad boys up at the end of the year, you can cash them out for amazon gift cards, cash, rooms, etc. DEFINITELY sign up for IHG! Not only are you banking on points, but the longer you’re with them, you get room upgrades for freezies.
Southwest Dining & Shopping Points: Dudes. I cannot express how excited I was to know that I can literally earn points just by GETTING DOG TOYS AND TREATS. Hell yea! I’m not even joking. Check this out- just use the same credit you use on southwest for your purchases and you automatically get points from it. Same with restaurants. Click Here to get started.
Here are some stores that are eligible for points that I have used (Faves are in caps because I’m excited): Academy Sports and Outdoors, BARKBOX, Best Buy, Birchbox, Cabela’s, Canon, CHEWY, Costco, E.L.F COSMETICS, Eye Buy Direct, Forever 21, Freshly, H&M, MAC Cosmetics, PETCO, Shutterfly, Steve Madden, Tarte Costmetics, Turbo Tax, and Urban Decay.
