This week I reached out to a potential client to see if we could meet some time. They are located in Portland, and of course I am in the Midwest. They requested I show up to one of their meetings that they held Monday at 7:30am. I could not fly to Portland due to a scheduling conflict. So, I recommended we meet through video chat.
The easiest way to video chat, form my experience, is using Microsoft Teams. I simply sent them an invite through outlook, with the location being Microsoft Teams. When they joined, I was able to share my screen which showed my presentation. People from other locations were able to listen in by calling the conference number that is given along with the video link, I LOVE this method.
I personally have a Surface Pro, so some of the other perks of this was I was able to take my Surface out to our facility and show our products on the floor. It was basically like they were here!
